My machines and some of the metal working projects I have done.

The workhorse of my shop, this 4-axis CNC machine can do a lot!

I use DeskCNC software to control my mill.  A very powerful software package for the price, but not the best documented.

To examine the size and proportions of a strip cedar kayak I’m designing, I cut this 3-D model out on the CNC mill.

I used a 4” digital caliper to make a Digital Read Out for my lathe crossfeed.

While the mill can cut round circles and with the 4th axis can machine round pieces, sometimes a lathe is faster and better
